Below is a graph showing the evolution of the top10 skills over the last 5 years.
These statistics are taken from the compuBase database which covers over 120 000 IT & Telecom companies in EMEA.
The Internet skill set ranks highest amongst IT & telecom companies, followed by networking, and then software engineering. Network security, wireless networks and VOIP are the skill sets that show fastest growth. The most significant downturn is for CAPM and Electronic Bulletin Boards.
In general, skills related to telecom networks are the most valuable.
